The Säjai® Foundation frequently receives requests to speak at conferences and events, something we love to do. Occasionally we’re able to exhibit at an expo as well. The following are some of the events we’ll be attending in the near future—if you’re going to attend, please stop by and say hello!
This year's NRPA Congress is being held in Minneapolis, MN--which is the Foundation's "stomping grounds"! Foundation President Melissa Hanson will join the Minnesota Children and Nature Connection on Wed., Oct. 27 at 3:45 p.m. for the topic "Nature Rocks: Strengthening Community Connections and Awareness with Nature. On Thurs., Oct. 28 at 3:45 p.m., Melissa will speak on the topic of "Childhood Obesity: How to Make Programming Work for Your Community."
We'll also be exhibiting, and all staff will appear at our booth at one point or another, so please stop by and say hello--we'd love to meet you!
Carrie Stolar will be speaking at the KOA conference in Savannah, GA, on Nov. 9. She'll present two sessions, one from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m., and another at 3:30-4:15 p.m.
We'll be speaking at the North Carolina Recreation and Park Association's annual conference, Spotlight the Spirit Statewide, at 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 15.
