Finding Grants

At this time, the Säjai® Foundation does not provide grants. However, we know how critical grant funding is to youth-serving organizations. We also know that with the current economy, grants are more necessary than ever. To offer help, we've compiled a list of top ten grantmakers by state, as well as the District of Columbia, focusing on those grantmakers who fund programs like the Wise Kids programs. To find the grantmakers who give grants in your state, find your state in the alphabetical list below. Where available, we've included website links or phone numbers, but some foundations are private and would need to be contacted by mail. In those cases, the addresses are included.

If you are an organization serving a rural area, this report on improving out-of-school-time programming for children in rural areas may help you provide background information for a grant application.

Please note: if you are new to grantseeking, please check out our list of tips here. Successful grantseekers know there are tips and strategies that need to be followed, even if they are time-consuming.
